Apprenticeship Levy Employer Agreement

Employers who wish to access funding through the learning service must create an apprenticeship account. Employers can consult and accept the agreement on their account. Due to the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), ESFA has decided to postpone the publication of the new employer contract until August 20, 2020. Employers may accept the new agreement at or after that date. Amendments that reflect the recent extension of service to employers who do not pay the apprenticeship levy issued a new employer contract on January 9, 2020. The new agreement includes: Without the employer`s agreement, you also cannot accept: the conditions for all employers who use the learning service to access the funds. There are two versions of the ESFA training contract for employers. Both agreements set the terms and conditions for the apprenticeship service for employers who wish to access funding through the apprenticeship service. We ask employers to accept the new agreement so that all employers have access to the magisterium under the same conditions. Transferred funds can only pay for the training and evaluation of learning standards agreed with the host employer and paid monthly for the duration of the apprenticeship. You can accept the new employer contract from August 20, 2020 in the “Your Organizations and Agreements” section of your account. You must have: the issuing employer and the receiving employer must be registered with the magisterium and have an online digital account (see link page 2).

Your current agreement (adopted before January 9, 2020) applies to your apprentices admitted until the end of their training or until you accept the new contract. The August 20, 2020 version is a new agreement available to employers: if your organization has accepted the agreement before January 9, 2020 and has new apprentices on August 20, 2020 or after August 20, 2020, you must accept the new employer contract. The January 9, 2020 version is for employers who opened an apprenticeship account between January 9, 2020 and August 20, 2020. These employers must only accept the August 20 amendment if they wish to obtain incentives to hire a new apprentice. Employers who wish to transfer funds can find employers who wish to receive funds in different ways. Examples may be: the updated agreement containing incentive payments for the hiring of a new apprentice. If you have an annual payroll of more than 3 million pounds, you are a taxpayer. Both employers must have signed an agreement with the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), which is entered into the online account (which is part of the online learning account). Starting August 20, 2020, we are asking employers to accept a new employer contract in order to access apprenticeship materials for new apprentices and to authorize account changes. Employer agreement with ESFA on the remuneration of apprenticeship training providers. It contains additional clauses that include access to incentive payments for the hiring of a new apprentice.

There are no other changes. Updated to include information about coronavirus (COVID-19) imputation instructions that are up to date until July 31, 2018, account holders in your organization can verify and change permissions in “your team.”
